Nancy's Remains Found. Nancy's partial skeletal remains have been identified. She passed in difficult terrain prior to March 11, 2017.
Kirk, my heart goes out to you. I've posted the info on FB and Twitter and will also post this link. You must be in total shock as we all are but you have done an amazing job of organizing people to help. Thinking positive thoughts. Warmly, Judy
ReplyDeleteWe changed plans at the last minute: Val and Charlotte will do the Playa Del Rey to Grand Ave. on Thursday.
ReplyDeleteOn Wednesday, we went to West LA City College. The College will post the flyers today with the appropriate authorizing stamp on them. The sheriff's substation will hand them out to all their people. The buildings and grounds department will notify their people. We also went back to places other have already been: Norman O. Houston Park, Kenneth Hahn State Recreation Area, and Jim Gilliam Park. We found flyers in the offices at those locations with offices. We checked as much of the brush as we could, but Hahn is very "wild". Gilliam is manicured, and we handed flyers to the people who do such an amazing job of maintaining that park. Everyone has been very receptive to our request for help. Some even volunteer to help before we have a chance to ask. There are lots of wonderful people out there.
