Can we organize a detailed sweep of the mid-wilshire area?

Missing persons guide

Does anyone have experience or interest in organizing a large search party?

What do you all think about getting a date and time for all interested parties to do a sweep of a 2 mile radius of the LACMA area?  We could advertise broadly at specific meeting time and hand out flyers to as many people as possible and really comb the streets around the vicinity.  It seems to me that people will organize around a cause if they have a concrete time and place and goal.  The goal being to absolutely rule out all areas near to LACMA.  I'm thinking about how the good people of Manhattan Beach came together for a candle light vigil after the fire-bombing incident.  Any thoughts on this idea.   Posted by Wendy Fletcher.  Please comment below.

  1. Though she wasn't lost in MB, it may be worth a call to MBPD. Maybe they can refer you to someone?

    1. I know the are has been search (car & on foot), but multiple searches are good. I love the idea of a bunch doing this together. Could be more effective, particularly if we do something like all wear the same color shirt or have balloons or something. I can host, use my place, since I live close, if you'd like. Great idea.

  2. My gut feeling is she's not far from where she went missing. Another search of the area sounds like a great idea but coordinated with/ok'd by LAPD Wilshire Div.

  3. I have not been around much, since I am in San Diego, but is it possible that she is hiding from searchers ? Has she shown any behavior like that over the past two years ?

  4. I live in the Miracle Mile and a neighbor and I were out looking yesterday. If you would like to organize a search, I would suggest reaching out to the mid city West Community Council ASAP. They may be able to message out via their social media channels that searches are needed. They can also help raise awareness as to the fact that she is missing.
