Areas of Interest - Where we have more than one or two potential sightings

Here are the general areas that we want to focus on more.  By focus, I mean actually looking for her and spreading the flyer as broadly as possible.  In these cases, we have received "a few" reasonable tips.  If you would like to go to these places and help, please take reasonable precautions.  As a rule, we strongly recommend you go in teams of at least two, let us know where and when you plan to go, and please give us a quick summary by sending an email to NancyIsMissing@gmail.com.

Area 1.  Area centered around La Brea and Pico Blvd.
We have a couple of different people who have reported seeing her around this area within the last few days.

Area 2.  Kenneth Hahn Park and Baldwin Hills
There are several parks in this area, with Kenneth Hahn being an especially large one.  We have people that have reported seeing her near Jim Gilliam park and also near Rodeo and La Brea, both early last week.  We just received today another sighting in this area (Rancho Cienega Park).

General ideas:
Parks
We have really hit Pan Pacific park and Hancock park hard, so it seems a little unlikely that she is there (the local homeless population would have noticed her by now and we feel confident they would have called us or let us know.)  Here are some farther away that have not gotten much attention:
  1. The Balwin Hills Parks (Kenneth Hahn, Jim Gilliam, Rancho Cienega)
  2. Syd Kronenthal Park
  3. Veterans Memorial Park (Culver and Overland)
  4. Franklin Canyon Park
  5. Runyon Canyon Park
  6. McArthur Park

  1. I'd like to suggest some tips on posting the flyers. I'm seeing them at intersections but many are on the opposite side of the street making it difficult for drivers to see them. I also saw several on the back side of poles and/or on the far side of the intersection.

The best placement is on the poles right at the crosswalk where cars would be stopped for red lights. They need to be facing the drivers.

It's great to see so many flyers out there! It's obvious people have been working hard to bring her home.
