A friend in Palos Verdes posted this on her NextDoor:
Would
anyone going to the March be willing to print out and post our "Nancy's
Missing" Poster in Downtown LA close LACMA where she was lost? Your
group may mobilize many people by your efforts. Just print out her Missing Poster from the blog http://nancyismissing.blogspot.com/, hand it out, post it, and your kind actions just might bring Nancy home to her husband and family. Thank you!
This seems like a great idea, so please copy this post to your local NextDoor.
At Least One System is Working
I was awakened early in the morning last Thursday by the Manhattan Beach Police. They had some photographs they had received from the Emergency Room at Kaiser on Sunset and Vermont. The Jane Doe in the photos was not Nancy, but it does show that some of our hard work in calling and visiting hospitals has paid off.
It's great to hear it's working! Thanks for passing that along Kirk :)
ReplyDeleteNancy & I were roommates our sophomore year at UCD, having met in the dorm as freshmen. We were in touch while she was at Stanford, but lost contact sometime after she transferred to UCLA. I just happened to do a Facebook search and found your blog.
ReplyDeleteI'm stunned and saddened by what I've read about Nancy, the brilliant, beautiful, funny girl I knew. I took one class with her at UCD -- the only class I ever got an A+ in because I felt compelled to outdo -- or at least do as well -- as she did.
I've posted the video from the The Doctors on my Facebook page. I hope that somebody recognizes her and brings her home to you. Prayers to you, Nancy's family, and to all who love her...
Kate ("Kathy" or "Kath-Guy" to Nancy) Jackson
Thank you, Kate... It is just unthinkable that Nancy could have taken such a decline and then be lost in LA. We continue to push flyers to hospitals and residential care facilities. And having people like you share information on Nancy via social media is greatly appreciated. We believe that someone will see the flyer and identify Nancy in a facility, perhaps as a Jane Doe or mis-identified. Again: thank you...
DeleteWell, accept my condolence. Why don't you try Missing Person Poster Templates? They are very helpful and can be use to place it in useful places.
ReplyDeleteI had thought about the Kaiser at Sunset. Glad someone there was aware of her. I'd keep the posters active there if possible. It's a big place. There are two addresses - one on the north side of the street and one on the south side by the church of scientology. She's in my prayers.
